Biography

Marc Leslie participated in a summer internship with Amgen while a student at OSU. He joined the company permanently after graduation as a process development engineer in California. He soon relocated to Colorado and participated in the design and start-up of a large-scale bio-manufacturing facility. In 2001, Marc returned to company headquarters in California as a senior engineer and process team leader and led the development of one of Amgen’s pipeline products. Today, Marc is living in Puerto Rico where he is the senior manager of validation. He is leading the team that will support the commissioning of the first biotechnology bulk manufacturing facilities in the country. Marc also serves on the Industrial Advisory Board for OSU’s bioengineering undergraduate degree program.
